Reviews and Ratings
The resort has a beautiful setup with lovely amenities like a pool and a nice restaurant. However, the service left much to be desired, especially with dining experiences and reliability in transport. I wish I could recommend it more, but unfortunately, my experience was marred by issues with food quality and staff attentiveness.
My stay at Evergreen was quite the adventure with stunning snorkeling right off the resort and beautiful gardens for kids to explore. While the early check-in process was rocky and the room was quite basic, the accommodating staff and delicious meals made up for those initial hiccups. Overall, it's a great budget-friendly option for those looking to connect with the local culture on Tanna.
The resort is peaceful and quiet, perfect for those seeking relaxation in a remote setting. I enjoyed the snorkeling right off the rocky coast, and the two pools were a nice touch, especially the small one with exercise bikes. However, the dining options were quite limited, especially for vegetarians, and I faced several inconsistencies in service during my stay. The absence of nearby shops and restaurants means you should be prepared to rely on the on-site facilities for meals.
My stay at Evergreen resort was a mixed bag. The warm welcome and the amazing staff really stood out, especially when they went above and beyond to get me a last-minute volcano tour. However, the dining experience left something to be desired, with some confusion over meal options and quality. The rooms were decent but lacked some basic comforts, and the pool was more ornamental than functional.
We had a pleasant stay at Evergreen with clean and comfortable accommodations, though the dining options were limited and the remote location posed some challenges. The staff were warm and friendly, but service in the restaurant could use improvement. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but some aspects didn't quite meet our expectations.
